Still in hospital, but no fevers and no sickness – until late in the evening when the tiniest bit of nausea suddenly brought his NG tube out.
Games had been played, snacks had been snacked and, after ward round, Kip had a visit from the teachers. His maths ability is fantastic, and he loves doing arithmetic problems.
His energy levels continue to improve, which is great to see but when he’s isolated and connected to drips it leads to frustration as he can’t run around or even leave his room.
All in it was a pleasantly peaceful day until that NG tube came out, so it ended on a bit of a downer at half past ten, Kip sat on my lap having another tube stuck up his nose…
